For most consumers, wireless alarm systems offer an easy and effective way to protect their home. Wireless systems are easy to install and operate compared to their wired counterparts and hence have become popular with the choosy home-owners. But while most systems do promise protection, there are times when they succumb to the shrewdness of burglars and compromise the security of your home. The most obvious instance is in the case of line-cut burglaries. Most home burglar alarm systems send their signals through the telephone lines and hence a cut phone line can stop the signal from being transmitted and leave your home unprotected. But AlarmForce with its AlarmPlus technology protects you against all emergencies at all times.

Line-Cut Burglaries

A line-cut burglary is the cutting of the telephone line of a premises by an intruder, to prevent the security system from sending a signal to the monitoring centre. Such burglaries have become common in homes across North America and even businesses have fallen prey to the crime. This has resulted in frequent warnings from police personnel about the likelihood of telephone lines being tampered with and homes being broken into. Clearly the police cannot confront the burglar in such situations. AlarmForce’s AlarmPlus technology is the ideal solution for such situations and offers you the ultimate residential protection.

The AlarmPlus Technology

AlarmPlus is AlarmForce’s patented technology developed specifically as a response to the threat of line-cut burglaries. AlarmPlus, when combined with an existing AlarmVoice home security system, will send a wireless signal to the AlarmForce Central Monitoring Station should your telephone line be tampered with in any way. Upon receiving this signal, central station operators will instantly alert the authorities who will arrive at the premises. AlarmPlus thus provides an effective additional line of protection and makes your home a formidable fortress for the burglar. By introducing AlarmPlus, AlarmForce became the first security company in Canada to manufacture a product that could transmit wireless radio alarm signals in the event that the customer’s  telephone line was cut.

Affordable All-Round Protection

As with all AlarmForce products, affordability is another AlarmPlus attraction. Costing only $99 for the setup and at $4.95 a month it is a really a cost-effective option that can be added to your Alarmvoice home security system. AlarmPlus is also an excellent residential security solution for premises that do not have a regular telephone service. Thus country cottagers and people who use cell phones exclusively can conveniently use the technology. And it doesn’t matter what time of the day it is or if you are alone at home. Even if it is night and you are home alone, you can activate the system before going to sleep knowing that if anyone tries to break in or cut the phone lines, the system will immediately alert AlarmForce’s staff and help will arrive soon.

Affordable, all-round protection is what you get with AlarmPlus. No wonder the majority of AlarmForce customers have chosen the system to reinforce their residential security. Be one among them, secure your home with AlarmPlus and relax for life.
