While the initial costs translated into a drag on current cash flows in order to build brand power in new markets, the trend of account creation cost is firmly on track. The total potential market population for our future growth in the US is of course much larger, promising an exciting growth opportunity in the years to come. By entering the three states we have in fact doubled the market opportunity and look forward to possible further US expansion.
Outlook and Future Growth
We expect to continue to achieve additional increases in the subscriber base in both Canada and the US through marketing our two-way voice technology and brand using advertising including radio, television, print and other media. It is just a matter of time until the AlarmForce brand will be as widely recognized in the US markets as it is in Canada. Our monthly recurring revenues, cash flows and subscriber base are expected to continue to grow in 2007. Our goal is to leverage the AlarmForce infrastructure to increase economies of scale while adding new subscribers and increasing monthly recurring revenues.
As the AlarmForce brand builds in the US markets, we anticipate that our method of organic account creation will successfully replicate the model we pioneered in Canada eighteen years ago. Cash flows from the Canadian operations are expected to continue to provide sufficient cash flow to fund the brand development and investment in new account growth, thereby reducing the reliance on debt. The future potential in the US is large as we continue to evaluate demographic factors and markets with density thresholds that offer a compelling opportunity for AlarmForce to exploit in the years to come.
